My coworker John B. and I ventured out for a sketch; the subject was Carl Milles’ Meeting of the Waters fountain in Aloe Plaza, north of St. Louis Union Station, executed in ballpoint ink. Architect Fumihiko Maki signed the sketchbook at a lecture at Washington University in St. Louis. Produced 18 April 1997, five dozen seventh phase (Nixaþ-Asmaral Xrga).
