La Chimera

On my mind again is my hope and dream - a studio of my own. The lrixe-language appellations did not trip off the tongue; Arysiwa Reneya, etc., and I had thought about “Studio Icarus”, sure to have already been claimed the world over. What about Chimera? Without pondering much further I turned to a picture of the Chimera in an art history book and penned the outline of the beast, washing over it with marker. Drawn 27 August 1997, Tayya 58a7, five dozen eighth phase (Ñixaþa-Alindðal Xrga, “life phase of Lindsay”), at Cafe Philippe.
