My coworker Verso and I visited my hometown to pay a visit to the site of a charrette in Channahon. While touring my hometown, we discover a close, a group of houses arranged around a walking path rather than fronting the street. This ballpoint sketch of the layout was done on site on a cold late afternoon. The close appears in plan and in false isometric, complete with paced-out dimensions. A vignette of Icarus at the wheel appears in the upper right. The Spanish reads “I am the driver”. Drawn in November 1997 = five dozen ninth phase (Ñixaþ-Ajinevral Xrga), Joliet Cathedral District.
