Much of Vinci LLC’s work proceeds under pressure of a fast-approaching hard deadline. Normally, digital models built in service of a proposal or an interview are lightweight, balancing speed of definition with an audience-friendly level of detail, showing only portions of the work, typically ignoring internal partitions and fenestration. When interior descriptions are needed, oftentimes a Vinci SurePlan™ interior (Examples: 1 → 2 →) proves sufficient. The objective of this particular visualization was to inform user groups about an upcoming construction project, thus needed to clearly and legibly portray interior spaces throughout three adjacent campus buildings. The approach involved using diagrammatic interior models that could display enabling work which involved safety, mechanical, and temporary protection concerns.
