CMU Thickness Transition Study

This sketch illustrates the joint between load bearing masonry walls with exterior face brick. I was the project manager for several athletic facilities, this drawing was intended to communicate implications of structural requirements on the walls to the chief design architect. The drawing required a half hour, and represents a stage shortly before the advent of easily available and feasible digital modeling. This is the second of 7 detail studies on the same day. Produced 31 May 2000 = Tayya 63a7, six dozen third phase (Añikç-Epravinal Xrga, “Househunting Life Phase”).
