Reneyikaryñe
This self portrait in ballpoint ink and colored pencil is the earliest such work, produced for an art class in Chicago. The work shows “Reney-Icarus” holding the “Caryma” logo, my personal logo since 1985. I am dressed in some kind of sportcoat. The name “Reney” appears in simulated typography, emulating a Cyrillic (Russian) treatment, in the lrixe alphabet at the time. Produced 20 April 1989 = Tayya 3b84, three dozen eighth phase (Safyr-Amyñikal Xrga).
