j62856225 Nottingham Masonry Study 2 |
An unfinished study of light on the brick and windows of a neighboring apartment. I set up the drawing like an architectural elevation and drew it while peering out of the kitchen window. Snow caught in the mortar joints and on sills made for an interesting focus. The light of the sky on the shadow side of frames, the depth of shadow projected in the vision-glass window on the left, and the corruscation of sunlight from the art glass at right are captured in the study. The grid was intended to properly lay out the common bond. Produced 13 December 1999 = Tayya 6285, six dozen second phase (Añikça-Xegriwal Xrga, “Life Phase of the Wedding”).
