Vignettes can be taken to a higher level of finish, employing the montage technique. Some elements are furnished from a simple digital model, with one or more site photos providing the context and backdrop. A simple custom digital model is placed on a site photo, with a more complex subject construction model situated in the background. The deeper image renders this view more convincing, showing the temporary implications of work on site. A montage artist will need to keep in mind both the temporary spatial arrangement and the construction schedule to produce such a view reasonably accurately.
