This view of the interior of St. Gabriel Archangel Church in St. Louis shows the five floor options studied for the pastor and the existing condition. A few rows of pews will be removed so that the baptistery can stand on the floor. The new location will be safer and offer improved access to the rite to family and friends sitting in pews all around. Mike De Vlieger modeled a portion of the interior of the church by taking on-site measurements and developing a digital model to host the options. The model offers the pastor an ability to dynamically present the concept to user groups and authorities. The model is flexible and represents church geometry faithfully as practical.
