This urban worksite featured plenty of surrounding constraints including mass transit beyond and an electrical substation in the foreground. A proposed skyway was to run between the proposed headquarters and a parking deck on the other side of the substation. The 150-foot length of this skyway would likely necessitate a column somewhere. More importantly, the skyway would fly over the blast zone of the substation.
