Some facilities your team will operate on will continue to be active, just like a surgeon’s patient hopefully should be. The surgeon needs to ensure the patient is breathing, just as your construction team needs to ensure safe access to and safe egress from the operating facility. The project RFP outlined a temporary emergency access to this clinic during an addition. The site formerly was a receiving area. Our displaying this confirms our understanding of the RFP — yes, we’ve read it! We’ve read it down to the signage. We have departed from RFP guidance regarding the temporary steel receiving chute at left. This shows the Owner that we have solutions that make the project less disruptive, keeping traffic off the campus road.
