construction worksite context university medical campus

Existing conditions are one of the three basic “legs” of construction worksite strategy. Everything we do takes place in the context of “what’s already there.” Much of what we say about construction regards how we take “what’s there” and make it into “what will be there.” Getting the “what’s there” right is paramount on a busy urban campus. Utilities fly over and under the worksite. Legacy conditions and accessways present challenge to the usual way your team would contend with construction. Convincingly showing the site as it is today helps your team to present construction strategy clearly to the Owner. This often distinguishes your approach from the other guys.

Check out some subsurface visualization, the significance of existing minor improvements on site, and how getting what’s there right can effect what’s planned to be there.
