Some projects involve multiple components that are more or less separate but closely related worksites. Because they are related, maybe they have common staging and administrative areas. Traffic management, wayfinding, and channelization become important. Most of all, just understanding the construction schedules, especially where two phases or components intermesh, becomes essential.
